Ever wondered what life is like for children in such a remote community? We hope website fans enjoy this 'wee walk' with Dalwhinnie Primary School!

Don't forget you can upload your own Dalwhinnie pictures to this site - have you got any good snow shots of winter 2010/11?

Hya fantastic photos. My husband Graeme was a chef at the loch Ericht hotel in 1989 when Gavin and Stella managed the hotel. I used to get the train up from Glasgow at the weekend to see him. We had some great nights in the hotel bar when "toasty" worked their and at the Grampian hotel. Does Christ still live there her husband worked in the distillery and she had 3 daughters Kathleen was the oldest she worked in the Ben Alder with me when I moved there serving lorry drivers the lorries used to stop( if it wasn't snowing) I will look out my photos and see if I can up load them the views are spectacular.

I have lived there and visited many times over the years as I have got older , the scenery is breathtaking and peacefully quiet, you can hear a pin drop most days, but sadly cannot visit so easily as I am now living and working in China
