July 2011. A Headstone for a Pony (3). In the middle of this photo can be seen Trigger's Headstone Memorial. One would be hard pushed to find a more peaceful final resting place, on the shores of Loch Pattack, below the slopes of Ben Alder where he spent most of his days, with the brooding mass of Creag Mhaighaidh above Laggan in the far distance. Also in this picture is Vicky Speirs, my companion on all the visits I've done to Ben Alder in the last five years.
