New PictureAutumn 1981. Ponies on Ben Alder (3). The ponies we used for stalking were semi wild, lived out on the hill and mostly ate grass. However, at the end of a day's stalking they were treated to a helping of cattle cake, seen here being poured out of the white bag by me. Unusually, the ponies in this picture are actually back down at the lodge. Also in this photo is my fellow ghillie Chris Donnelly. In the background, the building with the white window frames is the bothy where we lived. To the right of that building can be seen the garages.
