Marriage of Bella Wallace and Tommy Kerr at Dalwhinnie Hall

Marriage of Bella Wallace and Tommy Kerr at Dalwhinnie Hall. Courtesy of Mrs Maureen Stronach. Not sure of date or other folks in photo. Tommy Kerr was killed in action at the Battle of El Alamein in 1942. The word of this tragedy was advised to Bella whilst she was on duty with the Royal Observer Corps at the Carn Donnaidh post on the Laggan Road - with Mrs Doreen James. Tommy had formerly been a cooper at the Distillery.
