Ma & Pa Kettle of The Grampian Hotel

Ma and Pa Kettle and one of their huge Pyrennean Mountain dogs. They owned the Grampian Hotel in the 1960's. When I was a wee laddie, camping at Loch Ericht, I used to walk through the shortcut at the back of the Toll House to go to Stewart's shop, I was gey wary of these beasts.

These dogs were not too bad actually, it was the Rhodesian Ridgeback they had that terrified me!
