James Sharkey, Parachute Regiment, taken prisoner at Arnhem in September 1944. Was to become the local postman. Lived at "Ben Alder Gate House", then the farm on the south of the Loch, then Cuaich.

This is my father James Sharkey my mother is Agnes Sharkey, brothers are James,David,John & Elizabeth and I am Margaret Sharkey the youngest daughter we lived in Dalwhinnie 1961.
