Extract from the personal diary of General Montgomery

Extract from the personal diary of General (later Field Marshall) Bernard Law Montgomery. The official record of his visit to Dalwhinnie. I have many more photos and details of this event. The trip started at Addison Road Hammersmith, London, then to Inverness (Dalcross) then Kirkwall, then Scapa Flow where he was on board HMS Tyne and HMS Rodney. Then to Dalwhinnie. A quite amazing story which will unfold in due course!
