Eileen & John MacPherson.(aka "Skye Jock"). Both had been members of "Dalwhinnie Gaelic Choir". They ran "MacPherson's Shop" for many years. When I was wee I wasn't usually allowed to cross the road to go there. Latterly, any trout I caught went to them. John was reportedly a Lovat's Scout during WW2. He certainly had hollow legs which must be where he put all the whisky he drank - he was never up nor down with it, and was also a pool "maverick".
