Johnnie and Ishbel are sorely missed by, I'm sure, many. I lived at Etteridge as a kid and past them every school day, Ishbel would always make sure we had some sweets and would never take a no thank you. My sisters and I considered them family.
Johnnie was a quiet and kind man he used to keep an eye on us kids at the Phones shoots. Ishbel always had stories to tell and new everyone, she was a fab baker and her pancakes were legendary.

Johnnie was my granda Donnie's brother and I have fond memories of visiting them at Etteridge as a child and walking the dog Whisky along the moor. Sorely missed.
